A Multidisciplinary Treatment Journey
Omar is a one-and-a-half-year-old child facing a range of conditions that require comprehensive and continuous medical care. From the beginning of his journey, Omar has required multiple interventions across different medical specialties, including numerous examinations and surgical procedures, along with periods of recovery and ongoing follow-up to ensure that he receives the appropriate care at every stage of his treatment. Throughout his journey, Omar has received care across various specialties and clinics, including 582 hospital visits and 90 visits to different clinics, among them the Cardiology Clinic, NICU Follow-up Clinic, Colorectal Surgery Clinic, Pelvic and Bowel Management Clinic, Physical Therapy, and Nutrition Clinic. Omar’s journey highlights the importance of collaboration among different medical specialties, where the combined efforts of medical and specialized teams provide continuous care tailored to his complex needs and offer him the support he needs at every step of his journey.
