Nile of hope Academy is organizing the Basic Surgical Suturing Techniques Workshop
• Series of hands-on sessions to develop core surgical skills and techniques
• Learn about surgical instruments and their usage
• How to handle tissue with increased confidence
• Each skill is introduced with step by step (lecture-demonstration)
•Each participant will receive continual feedback and assessment throughout the two days.
At the end of the workshop each participant will be able to:
- Differentiate between different types of sutures.
- Know safe operating techniques.
- Know variety of surgical knots.
- Know confidential handling and use of surgical instruments.
- Know gowning, gloving, laying safe surgical knots.
- Know local Anesthesia management.
- Know tissue handling practice.
- Full lifetime access of the recorded sessions on Moodle.
- Certificate of completion.
- Suture pad for each student.
Strongly recommended for all Junior surgical staff & those who want to start a career as a surgical house officer
