announce a summer camp designed specifically for biomedical
engineering students.
This immersive program will provide you with:
• Hands-on Experience: Gain valuable insights by observing and
interacting with professionals across various biomedical
engineering specializations within our hospital.
• Expanded Knowledge: Deepen your understanding of the diverse
roles and fields biomedical engineers play in a cutting-edge
healthcare setting.

decisions about your future specialization within the dynamic field
of biomedical engineering.
Our integrated tertiary hospital structure offers a unique advantage. You'll
be exposed to a wide range of specializations, allowing you to explore
various career paths within biomedical engineering.
This summer camp is the perfect opportunity to ignite your passion for
medical innovation and pave the way for a fulfilling career in biomedical
engineering
1- The duration of the summer camp is 40 hours throughout 6 weeks
which means 11 training days an average 2 days per week 4 hours per
day.
2- The trainees will conduct a presentation on their final project on what
they learned during their training period at the end of the summer camp.
3- Each observer will receive his/her logbook during the summer camp.
This logbook must include details about what is being observed during
the day and will be submitted at the end of the summer camp
4- An evaluation sheet from the supervisor will be included to measure
the observer’s performance.
5- Each student will receive a certificate at the end of the summer camp.
6- Main Topics that will be discussed in each department:
1- Medical devices in department
2- Theory of operation
3- Models and types of devices
4- Troubleshooting of the devices
5- Assignments
An observer has to be a student at the faculty of engineering or Applied Health Sciences Technology at any accredited university in Egypt.
Undergraduate
A copy of the student’s university ID. A copy of the student’s national ID.
