Nile of Hope Hospital is organizing a summer camp for faculty of pharmacy students, where the pharmacy student will gain experience and develop knowledge about different fields and roles of the pharmacist in NOH hospital. Since we are an integrated tertiary hospital, you will get involved in more than one pharmacy specialty, and will get in touch with the daily workflow of the hospital, clinical, as well as the IV compounding pharmacist. Such training will be by shadowing doctors to be able to clarify various roles, which will definitely help you in gaining an insight for your future career path.
1- The duration of the summer camp is 50 hours throughout 11 days an average of 5 hours per day.
2- At the eleventh day, the trainees will conduct a presentation on what they learned during their training period at the end of the summer camp.
3- Each observer will receive a logbook to be submitted at the end of the training period. This logbook is to document what has been observed throughout the day on daily basis.
4- An evaluation sheet from the supervisor will be included to measure the observer’s performance.
- The trainee has to be a student at the Faculty of Pharmacy at any accredited University in Egypt.
