Makka was suffering from severe abdominal swelling caused by a congenital hydatid cyst that had been growing with her since birth and infiltrating her vital organs.  Her mother had taken her across several hospitals and medical centers in different governorates, but all refused to intervene surgically due to the extreme risks it posed to Makka\u2019s vital organs. One doctor, however, referred her to Nile Hope Hospital \u2014 which became, for the family, their last hope. By then, Makka\u2019s abdominal circumference had reached nearly 71 cm.  Her condition was deteriorating and she was in great pain. During the examination process, her mother called urgently to say that Makka\u2019s health was worsening. The medical team responded immediately, admitted her for examination, and prepared the operating room without delay.  By the grace of God and through the exceptional skill of our doctors, the massive hydatid cyst was carefully removed from Makka\u2019s abdomen without any damage to her vital organs. She came out of surgery in stable and healthy condition.
